Wendy Wong is a Postdoctoral Scholar and Lead Researcher at DIL. She oversees a portfolio of research projects focused on education technology and building state capacity in India. She is an applied microeconomist interested in studying the role of public institutions in addressing poverty and inequality. Her research focuses on the causes and consequences of inefficiencies in the allocation of public services; and how institutions can be designed to minimize these inefficiencies. Wendy recently completed her PhD in Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
