Cole Weaver is a Research Professional at DIL. He recently completed an MA in Economics at the University of Chicago, where he took a course on the practicalities of Randomized Controlled Trials. The course, instructed by Rachel Glennerster, ignited a curiosity in Development Economics that ultimately led him to apply to DIL. As of now, his research interests primarily lie in the economics of education, education more broadly, and inequality. Born and raised in Texas, Cole brings his southern charm, work ethic, and unique perspective to the DIL team. Before his MA degree, Cole previously worked at Harvard’s Department of Health Care Policy as a full time Research Assistant under several Health Economists.
